We believe in the power of a great thought, the resonation of an idea and the discussions they prompt. A great thought is what led us to create TEDxOshkosh.

What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxOshkosh, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxOshkosh event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

Burgundy Biletski: Fox Cities Victim Crisis Response Team

Established in 1997 by the Appleton Police Department, the Fox Cities Victim Crisis Response Team (VCR Team) is a 501(c)(3), volunteer-based organization that assists local law enforcement agencies and other emergency personnel in providing on-scene support for community members in the aftermath of a crime or traumatic event. In addition to providing immediate support, we also follow up with community members after the crime or traumatic event to ensure they’re getting the services and resources necessary to heal and move forward.
