The Rotary
Foundation of Rotary International supports the efforts of
Rotary International to achieve world understanding and peace through a
large variety of programs, including:
- Activities to eradicate polio worldwide
- Scholarships for graduate, undergraduate and vocational study
- Grants for university teachers to serve in low-income countries
other than their own
Paul Harris Fellowships
One of the ways Oshkosh Southwest Rotarians participate in the
Rotary Foundation is through the Paul Harris Fellowship
program. 32 Club members are Paul Harris Fellows,
designating that they have donated or had funds donated in their
name of $1,000. Many additional Club members contribute to the
Rotary Foundation through the Sustaining Member program, in which
they contribute a regular sum of money to the Foundation each month
year in order to receive a Paul Harris Fellowship when their
contributions have reached $1,000.
