International Service Projects

Making the world a smaller, friendly place through international service

  • Kenyan Projects - For many years, Oshkosh Rotary Southwest has worked with African citizens in the area around Machacos, Kenya. Past projects have included rural electrification and providing running water, and the club is currently engaged in a project to assist the process of building a hospital for the community.

  • Sponsorship of Student Attendance at World Affairs Seminar - Each July, the Club sponsors four Oshkosh high school students to attend a World Affairs Seminar at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater campus.
  • Host Flying Rotarians in a picnic at the EAA Air Venture Convention - Each year, in partnership with the other two Oshkosh Rotary clubs, the Club hosts Rotarians from all over the world to a picnic with a special guest speaker at the annual EAA Convention.
